took the plunge, upgraded to FF3. most of my extensions work, except ImgLikeOpera, which I fixed myself - and btw, even if it's not valid, changing http to https in the update url in install.rdf will shut FF up about a secure update site (wonderful).

well, the site is toast, but I've finally managed to get FF 3.0 twice to help with the record.

Like Verizon just completely shutting off access to alt.* . That's so far beyond "willfully disregarding common carrier status" that it's into "missile commanding net neutrality. also the holocaust". The old me might have given a shit. This new model knows nobody cares about my $.02 dollars. Or is that .0002 cents? I forget.

The new thing is that every "blog" sucks. Every "blogger" is all hip and modern idealisticy and it makes me sick to my stomach to read any of it. News flash, Southwestern Bell is still a bunch of corrupt shitheads. So is every other telecom company. We could destroy them all, but then slashdot would have to go back to posting about Debian and Mozilla slapfights, or Beowulf clusters, instead of bloggin it up over Time Warner and Apple something fierce.

btw, Steven Spielberg is an overrated hack, news flash. I can't find the story, but Boom Blox only moved something like 60k units. Hint to 3rd parties, babies don't have allowances yet so they can't buy your games. And grandma is too busy knitting to play anything but Wii Sports bowling. Once again, analysts are wrong, gamers know what will happen, nobody listens. Then it happens, and everybody is dumbfounded. Prediction, the next Death Jr game will fail to meet sales expecatations. Shocking! I named a certain part of my anatomy "Death Jr." It's because he's caused more abortions than Itagaki's game directing career.
